Question Browser User Interface and Display Changes Question Dataįor all questions, WebAssign reports global statistics on the percentage of students who answer the question correctly on the first try, the average time to complete, and the total number of students who have attempted the question. You can use the Question Browser to locate and select questions to add to your assignments, to change the question order on your assignments, and to create pools of questions so different students receive different sets of questions for the assignment. You may also sort by overall total points, total percentage, or time in the system. This change has also been made for toggling between current, dropped, and all students.Ī sort icon has been added under each assignment name to allow for simple sorting of the scores from least-to-greatest or greatest-to-least. The ability to toggle between current and recent assignments, past assignments, and all assignments, has been converted to a dropdown to promote ease of use. These scores will be displayed in the ScoreView and the GradeBook, if one is set up. It’s now easier to add scores from outside of WebAssign into WebAssign, such as tests administered on paper in class. The action links to grant extensions and additional submissions, email students, and download data for all or specific students, have been converted to buttons for improved visibility. Note: the scroll bar for viewing more assignments is located at the bottom of the student list. Student names, listed on the left, and assignment names, across the top, are now automatically frozen when scrolling up/down or left/right. The ScoreView displays a snapshot of students’ progress on class assignments. These upgrades are designed to improve the instructor experience as you view student course performance, and as you find and select questions when building assignments. Based on user feedback, WebAssign has enhanced the ScoreView and Question Browser.
